OMG. Decided to do MY OWN reviews of albums. Reasons being:
1) I've good taste in Music (note: i am no expert)
2) I need a medium to vent my opinions
3) I might forget my opinions and attempt to listen again.
4) Oh, and i've also great taste in the men (voices)
Now on with the album:

1) Sara
2) flash back blanky
3) EGOIST
Overview:
Firstly, the cover. Well, it reminds me of some haiwaiian designs you can find in those tourist-y shops. We NEED VISUALS! Like, well, their pictures?? So what if it's in the album sleeves, we (fan girls) need something to show off to and squeal in delight over their heavily made up and airbrushed faces!
Ok. done.
Songs-wise, I Love EGOIST!! It's pretty hyper! Something about it makes me want to jump, bop to the beat and shiver with glee over the rhythm, music and the singer's way of expressing himself (by singing mind you). Oooh. *shivers*
Sara, the main single, took me a while to get use to it. The beginning sounded a bit like Alice Nine's Rainbow (the only decent single from them. really.) And nearly skipped the song blindly this morning thinking it was Alice's. They seem to be trying to incorporate a soothing pop tune with rock, and then suddenly Tomo starts to randomly whisper into your ear(phones) midway.
Decent enough. Am still listening to it. gimme time.
flash back blanky Meeeh. So-so. It's like the most generic popish rock. Too much of those computer enhanced/mixed voice? Less of his perfect vocals.
Conclusion:
Hmm, i still prefer their first mini-album. This is too messy, and feels a tad different from the first one too. Well... they are still new in a way. Give them time to find what they are comfortable with.
There's still 2 more singles out this year! Heh. i can't wait.
